New media age Social Influence Chart

The new media age Peer Index Top 100 is a league table of the UK digital media and marketing industry's top 100 most influential people on social media. The list is open to anyone from the UK industry to enter or nominate by using the hastag #nmaPITop100 on Twitter.

The initial point of entry to the list is via Twitter but it is judged on users' wider social media profiles, on Facebook and LinkedIn for example, if they have logged into Peer Index and given permission for this. For more information about the methodology see the bottom of this page or visit the Peer Index website (http://www.peerindex.com/help/scores).

The NMA Peer Index Top 100 is based on social media users' PeerIndex Score. The score is made up on an analysis of a user's authority, audience and activity levels - using the context of how others interact with them, how often, and the reach and quality of their audience. For example, if you have a large audience but it consists of mainly spam accounts, inactive accounts or bots, your score will reflect this. For more information see the Peer Index website (http://www.peerindex.com/help/scores). New media age will also irregularly screen the list to ensure no accounts that aren't individuals, for example company or agency profiles, or non digital or UK accounts, feature in the list.
